Terms & Conditions

This is an agreement between you and GURU APP NOHAR PRIVATE LIMITED (together with its affiliates, “Guru App”, “we”, “us”). These Terms govern your use of the digital spoken word audio and video entertainment service operated by Guru App.

By signing up for or using the Service, you acknowledge that you are 18 years or older and capable of entering into a legally binding contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872. If you are a minor, you may use the Service only under the supervision of a parent or guardian.

Your Account

To use the Service, you must create an account on guruapp.in. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

Membership Plans

We may offer different membership plans and modify them from time to time. By subscribing, you agree to the terms, features, and limitations applicable to the selected plan.

Credits

  • Credits are non-transferable and non-refundable.
  • Credits have no cash value.
  • Credits are valid for a limited period only.
  • Credits expire immediately upon cancellation or termination of membership.

Purchased Content

Purchased content should be downloaded promptly. While re-downloads may be permitted, availability is not guaranteed. Guru App is not liable if re-downloads become unavailable.

Promotional and Membership Content

Some content may be provided free of charge or as part of a membership. Access to such content remains valid only while it is offered or while your membership is active and in good standing.

Content Availability

We may add or remove content at any time and do not guarantee the availability of any specific content. Certain content may be restricted based on geographic location.

Fees and Renewal

  • Fees are disclosed at the time of purchase.
  • All fees are non-refundable unless expressly stated.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled.
  • Auto-renewal can be disabled via Account Details or support.

Membership & Subscription Cancellation

You may cancel your membership at any time. No refunds will be issued for fees already paid. Cancellation does not affect access to previously purchased content.

Promotional Trial Memberships

Trial memberships may require a valid payment method. You must cancel before the trial period ends to avoid charges.

Service Restrictions

  • Memberships are non-transferable.
  • Access may be restricted to prevent fraud or abuse.

Content Restrictions

  • No copying, selling, renting, or distributing content.
  • No removal of copyright or proprietary notices.
  • No circumvention of DRM or security mechanisms.
  • No commercial or illegal use of the Service.

Your Conduct

You must not use the Service for unlawful, harmful, abusive, offensive, misleading, or fraudulent activities, or upload any objectionable content.

Notice Procedure

If you believe your rights have been violated or objectionable content exists, you may submit a notice to the Grievance Officer as specified in GuruApp.in Conditions of Use.

Agreement Changes

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Termination by Us

We reserve the right to terminate the Service or your membership at our discretion. Refunds, if applicable, will be prorated unless termination is due to violations, fraud, or misuse.

Disputes & Limitation of Liability

All disputes shall be governed by applicable Indian laws. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
